We had a small shed that needed a new metal roof. We were glad that Allstate Exteriors came right out and measured and gave a good quote..We were surprised that they would even be interested in such a small job. The customer service girl was very good about communicating with us regarding scheduling. We were very pleased with the way Robbie and his crew took care of business from start to finish. They were very efficient and cleaned up after themselves. They treated us as if we were just as important as their big jobs. I would be happy to refer people to Allstate Exteriors in the SW Florida area.

I spoke with a young lady about a repair on my gutter , I believe her name was Amanda . I usually don’t do reviews but she was very nice and helpful in answering my questions! I am speaking with my husband tonight and we will be making an appointment ! Thank you for being so kind and making a hard situation seem as good as it possibly could be ! I look forward to working with you ! They have trees growing out of them and I was super embarrassed to call! She made me feel like lots of people need help and it’s ok ! Thank you , you were amazing !

After Hurricane Ian, Allstate installed our emergency cover, and then a new roof. We were so pleased with their work, we recently hired them again to put up vinyl siding. We were pleased with the process, product, color match and the customer service from sales to the office staff and project managers. Though we were unable to be there to turn off the electricity during the job, we were so pleased when Matt returned later to reinstall our front door lamp; he was so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend Allstate Exteriors and Restoration!

What attentive and great service, an exceptional Roofing experience for my husband I with this company....they dealt with a big roof/ chimney problem at my home. Shoutout to Rick, Melina, especially Brittany and Julian...they found a real bad leak and discovered a big problem..total Chimney rot!!.they sealed up the flashing area after leak found and came back and redid flashing and seal on the roof... so major chimney repairs could be started. They were professional , responsive, all around!! ...when other roofers would say they come and didn't...Allstate Exteriors did and delivered! I highly reccomend this first class Roofing company to anyone...they are the best !!

* 7/15 RESPONSE TO ALLSTATE’s REPLY: I indicated someone came to my house when I was not home and my ring camera recorded them walking around the house. I also indicated I could see but not identify a shirt logo. Based on the time the ring video was captured you indicated it was a JH rep. I never said I saw a JH rep. Yes I was satisfied in the end and sent the final payment. Let me be clear when I say I was at no point pleased only minimally satisfied that all the errors we had to identify for you were corrected. Final payment was submitted late April, the 8 week delay in this review reflects my attempt to recount factually what happened and not allow my perspective to be clouded by this nightmare experience. Had I written the review earlier it would have been significantly worse. Your crew slept in a van on my street outside my house and left underwear lying in the street. Yes you corrected the many errors we found that never should have occurred but nothing about this experience measured up to satisfactory. Trust me when I say my disappointment far exceeds yours.* I would strongly advise against hiring Allstate for your Hardie board installation. The installers made mistakes that would have proved catastrophic to our home in the event of any type of heavy rain much less a named storm. The lack of professionalism was a real problem but the lack of product knowledge and inability to follow specifications clearly laid out by James Hardie in the permit were shocking. We had a sales person come out and sell us on their experience and process. Austin told us he would be with us every step of the way. Even though the install was running months behind he never reached out, at least not until we discovered the installation was not being performed to James Hardie specifications and we halted the job. We were concerned about our board and batten install because it appeared to be missing flashing critical to preventing water intrusion and damage, along with other issues including special materials for which we paid an up charge that were included in our contract but not being used in the installation. We noticed when we pulled the permit that Allstate’s name was not even on it. They hired a sub contractor to do the work, a tile company. We provided a letter with photos referencing the JH technical specs in the permit and included photos of our project demonstrating it had not been installed correctly. Materials were left uncovered and the protective film removed which resulted in damage to the materials. Plants were killed and not replaced, the sprinkler system was broken and they never informed us, instead trying to fix it with zip ties that resulted in flooding. Trash was left out on our property daily and the crew appears to have slept in their van on our street one night and left underwear laying in the street along with extensive oil stains. In the initial walk through for the job I expressed concern about marble and stone walls on the inside of the house but was assured nothing would effect them. We now have cracks, broken grout and actual nails coming through the marble in our shower. We were eventually informed by the project manager Brittney that this crew had never done a board and batten install before. An Allstate managing partner, Brooke, responded to our letter offering to correct the errors, paint the the damaged Hardie board and provide a JH inspection when the job was complete if we still wanted it. While we did not see a report from a JH rep or meet the actual rep, Allstate says they came out and everything is completed correctly. I was fortunate my husband caught their mistakes and was able to do the research and provide the documentation showing the errors. I can’t imagine the damage that would have occurred to our house and JH warranties would have been voided since the install was not to JH specifications. Even if you know how cement board should be installed and can supervise the work they do, you should still hire someone else. I would never again trust something as valuable as my home to Allstate.
