My husband and I interviewed four companies and chose Big Wave. From the very beginning of the horrendous discovery of mold, Mike Thompson explained in detail the process and completely documented the steps that were taken. Communication was continuous and they were always on time and prepared. Every member of the team was professional and respectful of our home and our pets. Upon conclusion of the remediation, our home looked like nothing had ever happened. On our way home from vacation, we had found that a hose had burst causing water to get into our home, completely ruining our living/dining room floors and soaking most of our walls. I called Big Wave that Sunday and spoke to Paul, who had his crew out the very next morning. They worked fast and efficiently to get everything dried out before mold could grow. Following a fire sprinklers head being knocked off in the condominium above us, Big Wave responded promptly to remediation and restore our unit. They brought in dehumidifiers after checking with thermal imaging for water behind walls. They also brought in an air scrubber. Their response was very quick to limit mold development. They allowed us to use our contractor for bathroom shower restoration and reimbursed us. Big Wave used our laminate flooring source to secure the exact flooring to replace damaged flooring. Macio from Big Wave did an incredible job replacing the flooring, damaged baseboards, and touch up painting. Big Wave also brought in a private air quality testing company. Big Wave kept us informed every step in the process.
