Highly professional, knowledgeable, and responsible. My experience was a water leak and they responded quickly and professionally. They explained things to me and worked with my insurance to get things settled. Edward made sure to stay in touch with me consistently throughout the job and made me feel like a priority and not just a check.

10/10 service! My grandmother’s laundry machine had been leaking for weeks , it flooded out the guest bedroom and bathroom, causing water damage and mold. We were devastated and had no idea what to do! We called Coastal Property Restoration and Edward provided exceptional communication and guided us through every step of the process, from mitigation to restoration. They really swept in and made the entire process so much more bearable. I am truly grateful for their professionalism and patience. I highly recommend their services.

Do not hire this company. They came recommended to me for clean up after hurricane helene. We ran into several problems using their services: - They lost the $5k deposit check we provided on site and could not process an ACH payment so we had to pay a credit card processing fee - They charged us $30k to run dehumidifiers/fans and rip out 3 rooms of flooring - They did not communicate when they would be at the house and were delayed weeks while we were trying to prevent mold growth - once they connected dehumidifiers they left the hoses to drain into the house and on our floors. So they took the moisture out of the air and leaked it on the floors - When we originally hired them, they told us they would work with the insurance company so that all cost came out of our claim. This was not true and they either knew that or aren't experienced enough to know that for NFIP flood claims the insurance company will not work with them directly - they put a lien on our house while we waited for almost a year to receive our insurance payment (I understand why but this was not part of the original discussion) - What they charged was above and beyond the NFIP standards for hurricane clean up so it was not all covered. At the end of the day this company is not professional, does not have their customer's interest in mind, and either lies or doesn't know what they are doing. I feel that they take advantage of people who are in need during a time of crisis.

My father contacted DKI for mold removal and remodeling two bathrooms and a kitchen. Plus recarpeting the whole house. They said it would cost $30,000.00. When my father (who was 84yrs old) received first payment from the insurance company of $21,000.00, DKI demanded to be paid up front. After my father signed over the check to DKI, they just disappeared! After 2 more years went by, my father hired an attorney. It still took another 6mon. plus a court deposition to get DKI to start working his house. The work was terrible! It looked as though the Three Stooges did the work. They removed the mold and did some work in one bathroom but not the other. DKI did the kitchen but tried to leave out the dishwasher and claimed "there was never one there" till photos were provided, proving there was one. DKI had in the small print of the contract my father didn't see was a clause that when DKI Claimed they were finished that they should be paid in full! I took pictures of their terrible workmanship of the bathroom and kitchen and will try to Post them here as proof that this Company is a "Rip Off!" DKI has been reported to the BBB and business social media platforms.

We had a air conditioner pan overflow, in the attic, it flooded our ceiling causing the drywall to collapse on the floor our insurance set us up with DKI Tampa. At first the lady was concerned and said she would have it fixed, they came one day took down drywall and Insulation, plugged in dehumidifiers and large fan's, then left , they set a date to return and was a no show, no phone call out of respect, in the mean time the dehumidifiers and fan's ran for 10 days 24/7. Finally they showed back up and removed the carpet and unplugged the equipment. She had no excuse to give us why she did not call us sooner, and the more we got to know her the more predictable she became, the whole project was a disaster, and it all started with her. They even put day laborers in our home, but pretended they were professionals, they told us that they were just hired for the day, and the guy in charge had no experience and just started 3 days before showing up to our house. She came by one more time to have us sign a new evaluation, and because she did not like the one we filled out, was not going to submit it.. so she came with new one, and we did not fill it out.we just signed it and she gave herself great reviews. We only signed it to end the Mediation process, and then she told us she would get back with us on the contractor side of things, we knew then we would never see her again. We called that one. Shame on you, she got payed $8100.00 just to remove drywall and carpet. We got $3100.00 to find our own drywaller and also had to go get some mom and pop store to replace the carpet, we did not get enough money to cover the repairs, and we did all the painting ourselves, Our experience with her and DKI Tampa complete disaster, I would not recommend them , very unprofessional, no respect for the homeowner, and they caused alot of unnecessary damage to our home, on top of the disaster we already had. Very disappointed in our insurance company and DKI, especially the one in charge to handle the cleanup, she did a horrible job. And I hope I never see her or DKI again. If you can control who does your cleanup call Serve Pro. And avoid the disaster we had with her and DKI. They don't even get a star from me, a grade F-.
