Daytona Gutter Cleaning

Matt has worked in our condo community many times. He has always been on time and very professional. All work was completed in a timely manner and his work has always been top quality.

Matt did a great job installing my 1500 sq.ft. house with seamless gutters and has been cleaning them twice a year for me too! This man does everything well and I could not be any more satisfied.Big thumbs up !!!!

I'm writing this review not so much about the gutter cleaning, (although Matt did clean out a couple of sections of gutters for me while he was finishing up the roof work), but rather about the quality of the work involved with replacing two old skylights on my house. I purchased two new skylights from a local company who would have been able to simply remove the old units and install the new ones on the original framing. However, over the course of three decades, there had been some occasional water intrusion around the perimeter of the old skylights which I was able to temporarily patch as needed. I needed someone to remove any and all material around the skylights to determine what needed to be replaced, if at all. Matt, who is the repair manager for Walker Roofing in Port Orange and working solo, was able to remove the old skylights, a roof vent directly above one of the skylights and the tiles around a drain vent that had a cracked boot, all of the necessary surrounding tiles, (plus several roof peak tiles), install all new heavy-duty flashing and underlayment, built and installed new frames for each new skylight, reinstalled the roof vent, replaced all of the tiles and re-mortared the peak tiles. All of this was done in the span of 5-6 days, minus one day for an "iffy" weather forecast and part of a day for lightning in the area. After the job was completed, you wouldn't know there had been a contractor on site, since the clean-up was impeccably done. I also can't say enough about Matt's work ethic. Not only did he undertake and complete a job in conditions that bordered on inhumane, (try working on a black tile roof in the Florida sun in June!), but he did it working alone. Matt's approach to a job is that if it starts raining, he'll wait in his truck for about an hour, and if it stops, he'll get back up on the roof and continue where he left off, rather than just packing it in for the day. As I said earlier, this review is primarily about the roof work, but Matt's ability to clean and inspect gutters should easily translate into a job well done. I would highly recommend Matt for any roof job, not to mention gutter cleaning.

I highly recommend Matt at Daytona Gutter Cleaning! He is very responsive and does good work reasonably priced! While cleaning gutters he noticed a missing shingle and replaced it. (He also does roofing repairs) I will definitely use him again- honest and hard working!
