Del Sol Roofing did a great job o. A difficult job. They built up the roof to greatly improve the drainage. Del Sol exceeded our expectations. Thank you to Orlando for guiding the process from beginning to end. I would definitely recommend this company.

Roof looks amazing, had a few snags along the way with the county but nothing I didn’t expect due to previous experiences with prior remodels. They show up when they say they will. Two of my neighbors also used them and were very pleased. Good warranty. Price was reasonable with other quotes. Could’ve gone with someone cheaper but you get what you pay and wanted a reputable company that had been in business for years in Miami Dade.

After reading reviews of roofing companies it was scary to hire anyone! There are negative and positive reviews on every roofer. Del Sol was recommended to us by friends, and had the fewest negative reviews, so we took our chances with them. I give 4 stars because we are happy with the work they did. The roof looks great. It doesn’t leak. However, I do take away 1 star for a few reasons. One, the job took much longer than it was supposed to, and not just because of weather. Two, several “crews” come out to the house for different jobs. The first crew was very considerate and clean. But, several crews after that would leave their trash in our yard. I spoke to the crew manager and our salesman several times about this. I really don’t think that I should be cleaning up the trash of people I’m paying to do a job. There would be water bottles, Gatorade bottles, soda cans, and cigarette butts in the yard and pool almost everyday. I try to not make too big of a deal out of this, as it is very hard to get good quality workers these days. But it did cost them a star. Three, the roofers left a lot of tar on both my front porch tiles, and my backyard travertine tiles. We had to ask for weeks for them to come out to clean it up. I thought it was finally done, but I’m discovering more that I’m going to have to clean myself. Finally, the company was calling us to sign off on the job so that they could get paid when the final inspection had not passed. There were still a lot of nails and roofing debris around the yard that should have been cleaned up. But, since we signed off before we knew that the final inspection hadn’t passed, we were left to clean those things up ourselves. That’s on us. We shouldn’t have assumed that just because they were demanding their money that the inspection had passed. All in all, we are happy with the job they did, hence the 4 stars. I include the details of our experience to help others with their choice. I would hire Del Sol again, but I would be a little more careful about some things.
