If roofs were art, our new tile roof would be in a gallery! The entire process went exactly to plan cleaning up every day including (we did not ask) removing the large tarp Gary’s put over our pool each day. Over the course of 10 days, they had different crews each specializing in a particular phase. The whole team, led by Edgar Cordova, was fabulous! They were efficient, friendly and always on time. My wife and I highly recommend Gary’s if you want the best and the roofing job done right.

Based on my recent experience with Gary's Roofing, I highly recommend them and give them a very strong "5" rating. Here's why: I contacted Gary's Roofing to repair a small section of the roof, which "leaked" during the last 2024 hurricane. Gary's Roofing installed this roof in 2018 for the previous owner. From my first contact with Gary's Roofing until an inspection was done and the repair was completed, I have nothing but compliments and praise for their professionalism, responsiveness, good communications, efficiency, courtesy, and for resolving the "leak" issue. My first contact was with Ms. Jennifer Santana. She was polite and courteous, listened attentively to my explanation of the issue; and she scheduled a Gary's Roofing expert to come to my residence and inspect the roof. The inspector did an outstanding job, explained his findings and showed me the photos to support his findings. Ms. Santana worked quickly with her management to provide me with an estimate, repair contract and date the work would be done. It was like clockwork, and I received a call from a manager to go over the roof warranty and benefits of taking advantage of their Annual Maintenance Agreement, for which I signed up immediately. Again, everything went like clockwork...the repair team arrived on schedule, briefed me on the projected repair activity. estimated duration of the repair, and they provided me with photos of the repair work - a truly professional job! I would like to add that I purchased my first home in 1975, and have owned multiple homes since that time, including three homes in Florida, which have all experienced hurricane effects - so I am have significant experience dealing with installation, repairs and maintenance of all types of roofing {my current roof is slate, but I have also had tile and durable shingles) and with the roofing companies, which install, service and repair them. I need to conclude by stating that Gary's Roofing is the best Roofing Company with whom I have dealt in my near 50 years experience!

Need a new roof? Stay a while and hear my tale. After Milton blew off many clay tiles from my thirty year old original roof, I decided that enough was enough with all the repairs: It was time for a new roof. But who to choose as the roofer? Roofing company options abound, and I knew nothing about roofing, so I felt poorly equipped to make a choice. I got estimates from a couple of firms. The typical rep would show up, spend ten minutes walking around the house, maybe throw up a drone, then give us a price. Each company gave us a similar estimate and information, which didn't make the choice seem any easier. But Gary’s was different: I remember calling to set up the estimate appointment and being told: "Please be at the house for two hours". Two hours? That seemed strange…. At the inspection, employee Rick amazed me. I couldn't stop talking to my wife about it for a week. He spent the first hour exploring and photographing every inch of the attic. I believe he is on a first name basis with every joist now. He showed much more interest in the state of our roof (just to create an estimate, mind you) than the contractors we had hired to fix leaks. In the second hour, Rick proceeded to give me a graduate level seminar class in clay roof design. The central principle behind Gary's "System 1" design is simple: water should be on top of the roof tiles not on the underlayment. Seems like common sense huh? Why put tiles all over the roof if they aren't going to act as a water barrier? Obviously the underlayment is going to last much longer if it is the backup and not the primary workhorse. Rick showed me photo after photo where other roofers had created situations where water under the tiles caused disaster. In fact, the owner of another popular Sarasota roofing company had previously told me that the underlayment is the real barrier and the tiles above were just for show, so I could verify from experience that what Rick was saying about other companies not sharing this water-on-top-of-tiles philosophy was true. So I signed with Gary's. But I wasn't sure yet I had made the right choice. I wondered: Are the rest of Gary's people as competent and hardworking as Rick? Work started about eleven weeks later. It went great. Gary's teams worked quickly and efficiently, finishing the job in just days. We were pleased that the process did not drag on for weeks. From what I could see on the ground and the progress photos we were given, it looked like the men were doing quality system 1 work consistent with what I was told in the sales process. One issue came up: The color of the ridge tiles that Crown sent us did not match the rest of the tiles. The mismatch was small but real. Supervisor Edgar handled the problem with fantastic customer service. Without any fuss or frustration, he worked get new tiles from Crown to fix the problem. Edgar is a superstar. He was completely dedicated to ensuring our satisfaction. When he noticed the magnet tool that a neighbor had lended us to find extra nails, he asked if we had found any, and told his team to do another nail pass. So if you are reading this, know that I recommend Gary's without reservation!

I had the pleasure of having my roof replaced by Gary's Roofing in May 2023, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The communication from the project team and office staff, especially Jamie, was exceptional. They kept me informed every step of the way. The work ethic of the roof installers was top-notch, and the price was very reasonable considering the quality of service provided. I particularly appreciated that they took status pictures of the progress each night and emailed them to me—this level of transparency was impressive. After Hurricane Milton, I submitted a service inquiry through their website to have a vent cap resealed that had been blown off. They responded quickly and sent a crew of eight to fix the vent cap, clean the gutters, and inspect the roof. Their promptness and thoroughness were truly commendable. While I could have chosen a less expensive roofer, I am so glad I didn't. Gary's Roofing is worth every penny. They may be based in Southwest Florida, but their service is world-class, and it shows from top to bottom. I highly recommend them!

We give Gary’s Roofing our highest recommendation. We had previous experience with Gary’s with a leak eight years ago. They repaired our roof at that time with no further issues. When it was time to replace our large roof, we met with Rick Rogers who spent an hour explaining the process. Although we received other quotes, the great experiences our neighbors have had also played into our decision. We have lived in our home 22 years and seen many roof replacements. Some take months and some leave a messy worksites. Some deliver tiles and leave them for weeks. Gary’s has a great reputation with friends and neighbors. From start to finish, the entire process was seamless. Jennifer Santana in the office provided exceptional customer service . She delivered roof tile samples with next day service, found homes in the area with the samples we liked in order to view on a large scale and answered all questions immediately and professionally. Edgar communicated regularly regarding tile orders and start date. Old roof tiles were removed starting Monday morning at 7:45am. Ramon, who was onsite supervisor, was in charge of a dozen gentlemen who worked for 4 days to prepare our roof for new tile. They spent 45 minutes at the end of each day cleaning the work site. My neighbors on all sides were calling and complimenting us on the workmanship and job site. Edgar emailed me photos nightly and called daily to see if we had questions. Ramon was available all day everyday to address any questions. The tile was delivered on Friday of the first week and on Monday morning of week two, the installers went to work. They did the house in sections as to never leave the plywood exposed in case of rain. The job was completed on Friday of the second week. Thank you Rick, Edgar, Jennifer, Ramon, Jesse, Sergio, Gabrielle, Arturo, Ramon Jr. all of Ramon’s brothers and everyone who did such a great job removing our roof and replacing it. Gary’s really is a family business and they treat you like family. We are extremely satisfied with the experience and could not recommend a company more highly.
