After Hurricane Ian, we had to get a new roof. We called and got several estimates for our roof. Julio Gonzalez of Massey Construction came to our home and inspected our roof. He took the time to explain how the process would work and what we needed to do . He is very professional, prompt, and honest. He also has a wonderful personality and smile. He kept us informed of the progress and timing of the repairs. They have been a great company to work with. Everyone from the crew that did the tear off to the crew that put the new shingles on were very kind and professional people. They left the yard and our home looking beautiful! Massey Construction demolished the interior of my condominium after Hurricane Milton destroyed it. We worked directly with AJ. He was very understanding and reasonable. I trusted him when he said his crew would take care of everything and clean up after. His words held true. The crew also worked very quickly. AJ followed up with me after the job was done to ensure I was satisfied. When we are ready to restore our home I intend on calling AJ.

Massey Construction put two roofs on my houses that were damaged as a result of Hurricane Ian. Work included replacement of a clay tile roof, replacement of a composite roof, gutters and soffits. Julio Gonzales was always responsive and returned my calls within minutes every time I called. He is truly a man of his word. Construction is always difficult after a natural disaster. Massey completed a quality job, and Mr. Gonzales was the reason for the completion of a job well done. I am grateful to Mark Massey’s company and all of his staff that worked on both of my houses.

My roof was installed in August of 2022. Massey did a nice job installing my dark brown tile roof except the roof has rust spots and lime showing everywhere, not to mention the color has faded to a light milk chocolate, it looks terrible. This may be the suppliers fault but that's who Massey uses. I've contacted them to no solution, unless I want to shell out a grand to stain it. That's not the solution I feel is justified.

This is the second time I'm having to write a review. Do not work with this company unless you're being forced to by your insurance company. That happens to be my current situation. They have canceled over half a dozen appointments. The simple repairs have taken over a year to finish. I'm not stating it feels like a year, but it has actually taken over a year. They're unresponsive, change the scope of work, and overall it has been a miserable experience. I repeat, if you have any option, do not work with this company. Still haven't finished repairs from last hurricane season.
