⭐ Homeowners, Please Read Before Hiring Contractor Benito Paul or His Company Mr. & Mrs. Shingles⭐ I’m sharing this with a heavy heart because I don’t want anyone else to go through what my family did. I absolutely do not recommend contractor Benito Paul or his company to anyone. What started as a simple roofing project turned into years of frustration, damage, and disappointment. From the very beginning, there were problems. The city inspector had to stop the work multiple times because it wasn’t being done correctly. One day, his crew left the roof covered with a tarp that had holes right before a rainstorm. The result? Water leaked into our home in various locations, causing interior damage that could have been completely avoided. Less than five years later—four years and ten months to be exact—the roof began leaking again, this time right in the middle of our bedroom, directly above our bed. The damage inside our home was serious and heartbreaking to witness. Our contract clearly states a 10-year warranty, yet Benito has refused to take any responsibility for the poor workmanship or the damages caused. For almost a month, he gave us excuse after excuse, promising to “solve the problem” but never actually following through. We finally had to hire another licensed roofing company, who showed us the hidden damage to both the roof and the railing. Repairing it cost us over $1,000 out of pocket. Despite providing proof and requesting a refund, Benito refused to reimburse even a portion of the cost. This experience has been emotionally and financially draining. I’m sharing this review as a sincere warning to other homeowners: please protect your investment and your peace of mind—do not hire this contractor. What happened to us could easily happen to someone else.
