We had a recent drain leak in our home. From the first conversation with Joanne, we were well taken care of. Luis came out that day and was very kind and courteous. He was very informative and made the whole situation so much easier to handle. He was so great with communication and came back each day to check on the progress of drying our home and helped the process to move quickly and efficiently. Steve our project manager was given daily updates on the progress and we are ao grateful for the efforts of the whole team. Thanks again. We would recommend them to all our family and friends.

We had a kitchen claim for a water line leak, and our insurance provider chose Puroclean for our remdiation and build back. Jim Roman was our assigned project manager, and he was exceptional to work with on the rebuild. Very accommodating for any changes we wanted to make, and if anything was not exactly how we liked it, he worked with us to make sure it was what we wanted! Highly recommend!

I had a great experience with Andrew at Puroclean! I received excellent customer service and we were helped quickly and with excellent response time as well. It was also a big help that Andrew was willing to work around my schedule, so if you are a person that often has scheduling conflicts, I would say you are still in good hands. Overall they got the job done very well and I could not be happier.

My experience w/ PuroClean-Lakeland, who were contracted by my insurance company (IC), started off promising but spiraled into a frustrating, disorganized, and ultimately incomplete service—leaving me to find alternative help just to finish the job. In January, following damage from Hurricane Milton, mold was found in my home. Early communication w/ Jordan and Steve was professional and frequent. However, since my roof hadn’t been replaced yet, we agreed to delay remediation to prevent recurrence. After the roof was replaced, I contacted them on March 20 to schedule mold remediation for March 26. As I work from home, they warned the process would be noisy and suggested I speak w/ my IC about Loss of Use coverage. Despite not securing that coverage by March 25, I confirmed I still wanted to proceed. At the last minute, they canceled, assuming I couldn’t work through the noise. While that was a fair concern, it caused unnecessary delays. They rescheduled for April 2, then April 3, and finally April 7 at 8AM due to issues aligning w/ the AC vendor. My understanding at this time was the job entailed AC removal, mold remediation, rebuild, AC clean and reinstall—nothing more. On April 7, Luis and team arrived an hour late at 9:03AM yet had the courtesy to let me know, but the AC vendor was nearly 3 hours late arriving at 10:40AM w/ no heads-up. The AC unit was removed and left on my patio per my instructions. PuroClean began demo and mold cleanup, finishing at 3PM. Luis returned the next morning at 9:15AM and wrapped up by 11:15AM. I was told I’d get a call to schedule the post-remediation air test. Jordan followed up on April 9 to confirm the test would happen April 11 at 10:30AM. The test was done and passed. Equipment was removed, but trash was left in the AC vent area, which I only discovered after they left. I expected the rebuild to begin next—but instead, another appt was scheduled w/ a different rep, Andrew, April 15 at 2:30PM for a rebuild assessment. Why this wasn't done earlier—especially during the April 11 visit—is unclear. As a result, the week of April 14–18 was wasted. April 18 (Good Friday) was also a holiday, causing further delay. To complicate matters, my IC asked PuroClean to reassess remaining damages throughout the home for comparison w/ a previous field adjuster estimate. I had made it clear to both my IC and PuroClean that the mold-related work was a priority—as I understood from prior adjusters that I'd need to find my own contractor for the rest, as the IC was only covering mold-related repairs. Despite this, PuroClean bundled everything into one $14K+ quote—when it should have remained two distinct projects—creating confusion and new delays. April 21, I followed up on the rebuild status. Jordan referred me to Bill, who passed me to Andrew. Andrew started questioning the deductible, which felt irrelevant at that point. He told me that unless I paid the full deductible on the entire $14K quote—including additional repairs—they wouldn’t move forward w/ any work, not even the rebuild and AC reinstall. This was not what was originally planned and it completely disregarded the scope and urgency of the initial job. I was essentially given an “all or nothing” ultimatum: either pay my deductible toward the full quote or take a cash-out from IC and finish the job myself. Instead of compromising to complete what they started as originally planned and accept direct payment for the rebuild, AC clean/reinstall, they're choosing to walk away unless they get the entire project. As of today: - My AC unit is still sitting on my patio - Trash is still in the AC vent area - No rebuild has been done - I’m being forced to hire a new company - I remain displaced from my home What was supposed to be a 2-week job has turned into a 3+ week delay w/ no resolution. PuroClean's poor coordination, shifting priorities, and refusal to finish their original job w/out the extra repairs is unacceptable. I would not recommend them to anyone seeking reliable, transparent, and professional restoration service.
