Red Roof Inn Tallahassee East

After driving for hours—pregnant, with two dogs and a toddler—I was absolutely exhausted. I had already stopped at four other hotels that either didn’t take pets, were full, or way too expensive. Finally, I found this place, and I’m so glad I did! The lady at the front desk was so sweet and genuinely sympathetic to my situation. She made sure to give me a ground-floor room since I’m pregnant, helped us park our trailer, and even told me about nearby restaurants. She really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The room itself was clean and comfortable, with nice hardwood floors and a tidy bathroom (just remember to bring your own soap and shampoo). The only small downside was that the AC only went down to 70°F—I like it extra cold at night—but that’s honestly such a minor thing compared to how kind and accommodating the staff were. Overall, this hotel was a lifesaver after a long, stressful day. Highly recommend, especially for travelers with pets or families!

While this was an old hotel. It was very clean and well maintained the location was absolutely wonderful right next-door to a Circlr K and walkable to a waffle house. It’s pet friendly and had a nice area for the dogs to run around a little. The front desk people were very helpful. Price was great and I would certainly stay there again.

The front desk folks were very kind and helpful! Room was clean and nice to have the frig and microwave. The pillows were not very comfortable for me, too big and not squishy enough. The door into my room did not latch completely closed, the latch barely caught so you could see light through the edge of door. With the bolt and extra safety mounted attachment it worked out fine. Thought I’d hear cars from nearby highway but it was actually very quiet. Overall very nice stay.

The rooms have have a very strong cleaning odor. The door didn't close tight. Other that that it was ok. The front desk lady had been there only 3 months and she was awesome and a very sweet young lady!

Do not stay! First room had mold under the sheets, and it was very apparent they were not changed between stays. There were little black specks, stains, and hairs between the linen. Second room had a live, crawling bed bug in the sheets! Never in my 27 years. Thankfully we didn’t set anything near the beds before checking. Got a full refund and left immediately. For clarification, the room was not booked under my name.
