The service was just ok, couldn’t feel any hospitality from the receptionist. Even though the corridor had the out of date feel, the room we stayed was clean and well maintained. And the smart tv was great to watch Netflix, YouTube or traditional cable channels. No breakfast provided wasn’t an issue to us. And the water machine in the lobby was a plus. The only downside was that they only offered coffee from 6 AM till noon. The overall experience was good. I would come back again if I have a need in the future.

Should be a Nice Place, the Staff was Remarkable... Knowledgeable and a Sincere Willingness to help. Rooms are tiny in Size to other rooms. TV was Small 32 inch TV that was so Dark, you couldn't tell if it was on or off. The Room Safe Never Worked, and Housekeeping kept coming into Room even after I had a Note placed on Room that No Housekeeping Services would be needed. The place smelled like Wet Dog whole time I was there. They Do Allow animals to stay, and I'm guessing from the smell some Dogs have been taking their Dips in the Pool too, and Living it up on Vacation.

Great convenient location. The room was ok. The bathroom had seen better days (poorly repaired crack in the shower, floor corners with buildup). The beds were comfortable enough for the two nights we were there. My main complaint is that my daughter left a pair of expensive sandals on the floor next to the bed when we checked out and despite my multiple calls to the desk, they stated that they never found them.

In any service industry, the true measure of an organization is not how they function when things go right, but how it recovers when a defect occurs. My extended residency at this property revealed a fundamental breakdown in operational quality and leadership accountability. 1. Communication Variance: There is a pervasive culture at the front desk of listening to respond rather than listening to understand. When concerns were raised regarding policy or safety, the immediate reaction from staff was defensive invalidation rather than root-cause analysis or service recovery. A guest's feedback should be treated as data for improvement, not an annoyance to be rebutted. 2. Critical Safety Defect: Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for privacy are non-negotiable. During my stay, housekeeping attempted to key into my room while I was indisposed, mere minutes after I had explicitly declined service. This is not just a "mistake"; it is a critical process failure that compromises guest safety and dignity. 3. Integrity & Compliance Failure: The property displays signage stating that in-room safe fees are "optional" and refundable upon request. Despite a formal request submitted within the designated window, management has retained these funds ($116+). Posting a policy you refuse to execute is a deceptive business practice. The Verdict: While the facility itself may be renovated, the management system governing it is broken. Until leadership addresses these variances in privacy, communication, and financial integrity, this property remains a risk to any traveler expecting professional consistency.

We got to this place at 2:30am traveling due to loved one getting admitted to Shands with a health crisis. Accidentally booked our reservation for the following night. Begged the front desk lady to check us in for a discounted rate since we got here so late. She refused and charged us for the whole night. Highway robbery. No empathy or customer service. Not only do they have no customer service they tuned the water off today with no notice. The rooms are DIRTY and there is NO WATER!!!!
