Restoration Army

Update!!!! Israel contacted me and sent out his team to finish the painting in my bedroom closet and fix the baseboards. I'm a happy customer!!!! Thanks so much! Restoration Army was recommended to fix a my bedroom after a pipe broke in the ceiling and water damaged my entire bedroom. There person I conversed with was Israel. He was very polite but the painting that the crew did wasn't as professional as I thought it would be. It took them about 3 days to finish the work. The workers were constantly asking me for water and one day to warm their lunch. I didn't mind but I found myself having to hang around in case they needed something. I think when you're paying someone to do a job they should be prepared. I still have areas where I need to touch up the paint where they missed spots. They left trash and paint trays and rollers in the room that I had to clean up. I had to ask them to put the outlet covers back and fix the baseboards on the walls.

I had the opportunity to work with Isrrael on several projects, he takes a logical approach to each remediation and is very educated in the field, all my clients have been very happy with the service and I recommend them to anyone wanting to get rid of mold from their homes

Work well done. They may not be the cheapest, but trust me you get what you pay for, and when it comes to your home, save yourself the headaches of trying to cut corners, you'll even save money in the long run by doing it right rhe first time. Strongly recommend.

If I could give negative stars I would. My home has incurred worse damage due to their incompetent roof tarping. Customer service is absolutely horrific. DO NOT USE THEM. **edited 9/2/2025 After my review, the owner reached out to rectify the problem. I have changed my rating slightly because they did reach out and came and fixed the tarp, however, I did incur damage that is permanent. I'll edit this again when my case is settled and I see the bill.

Genuinely surprised if we happened to be the only ones who have experienced these issues or if this is a common practice by Army Restoration. All I can say is stay away and do not use them! This company had a renter sign documents AS ME to claim insurance benefits, as the renter claims these were presented by the company as "just signing documents showing we were here doing work". They essentially misrepresented what the purpose of this was and Army Restoration should know better than to have anyone else other than the HOMEOWNER sign for insurance documents related to my claim. I will be making a report to the Florida Department of Financial Services for any potential fraud and encourage anyone else who may have any similar experience to also do the same. They came out and put a tarp on the roof and performed a dry out in several areas. Unfortunately, the quality of the material used to tarp seemed to be substandard and quickly disintegrated into pieces under the sun. After weeks of calls they finally came out to place another tarp on the roof, but yet again with the same poor-quality tarping which quickly ripped to shreds littering our entire neighborhood with small blue plastic ribbons. I still find pieces to this day. Upon further communications to attempt to have this resolved I was simply told that they wouldn't come out until insurance paid more, and then proceeded to file a lawsuit against my insurance from my understanding. Finally, they made is increasingly difficult to prevent me from gaining any documents I requested. Mind you again documents that were incorrectly presented to someone other than the homeowner, and so I was never provided a copy. Likely they realized the issue with having someone else fraudulently sign insurance documents as me. After several obstacles and over a year of hounding I was finally able to recover copies of any records related to my property. I will be very surprised to see how long this review will stay up. Though I will leave this as a warning and my personal experience with what I consider to be a HIGHLY unprofessional and possibly criminal company, but I'll leave that to the FL Bureau of Insurance Fraud to figure out.
