SERVPRO of East Bradenton/Lakewood Ranch

Bathroom fall at home. Lot of bleeding from head injury. Facing having to deal with the unpleasant cleanup on our own. A friend urged us to call Servpro of East Bradenton. Renaldo and Luis came out right away and worked their magic. Very professional and helpful. Respected our property. They had the supplies to clean different surfaces quickly and effectively. Amazing transformation from a terrible mess to sparkling clean in quick order. If we tried to do the cleanup ourselves it would have taken us hours and we definitely would not have been successful. Saved us the cost and hassle of repainting or regrouting. It was well worth spending the money to let these professionals handle it.

The last thing we expected to be dealing with this year was a mold problem which developed from a longtime shower leak in our master bathroom. The first thing we did was call Servpro to evaluate the situation and that was the best decision we could’ve made! When Dustyn and Ralph came to talk about the mitigation and restoration project ahead of us…which ended up involving our master bath, walk-in closet and kitchen…they instilled such confidence that they would be able to take care of everything for us. Steve and his team handled the mitigation part of the project very efficiently and professionally. Dustyn and Mark were both very involved in managing the restoration part of the project and maintaining a high quality of work and attention to details. All the construction team members were hard-working and skilled. This whole group took what was admittedly a stressful situation and made it much easier for us to deal with from start to finish. I would absolutely recommend Servpro to anyone based on our experience. We are so pleased with the outcome and grateful for Steve, Ralph, Dustyn and Mark and so many crew members that helped usher us through the process.

I was referred to SERVPRO of Sarasota by a reputable company and expected the same level of professionalism. Unfortunately, my experience left me quite disappointed. While the team who came out to perform the work onsite was professional, the overall process and communication from the office fell far short. What I wish had been made clear up front is that SERVPRO does not handle drywall repair, furniture replacement, or reinstalling closet shelving they remove. All of those services require a separate quote and scheduling—which in my case was delayed by 2–3 days. Had I known this ahead of time, I would have been able to plan accordingly. Instead, I found myself in an Airbnb, renting day by day, trying to manage my living situation and get back into my home. I reached out daily (sometimes multiple times a day) to the office to get clarity and updates, but the two Brians I dealt with were not personable or helpful. Rather than guiding me through the process, they seemed annoyed by my questions. I felt very much left to “run the process” on my own. For anyone considering using SERVPRO of Sarasota, just be aware: you will need to ask every question and manage every detail yourself. If you do not, you may find yourself facing unexpected delays and extra costs. I genuinely hoped for better communication and customer care, especially given their reputation. Sadly, this was not my experience.

This will not be shown, but Servpro's subcontractors are terrible. Their workmanship and ethics were so bad that it made the project manager, John Paul's job miserable. Their initial team that took care of the water intrusion of my house were great and responded quickly. But when it came to the restoration, that's when they fell flat on their face. Painting, trim molding work, and installation of vanity was to say the least, criminal! Beware! Clean up and respect of the clients property was atrocious.
