First off, Johan is amazing. I rarely write reviews unless the service is either STELLAR or abominable, and Johan falls into the former. I want to share the details of my experience, because I've been burned by contractors before and don't want anyone to go through that. Keep in mind as well that my home was under contract to sell, and this needed to be done fast, well, and by the book. I got quotes from 6 different roofing companies. I actually contacted 10, but only six got back to me. The pricing for all 6 was fairly similar, but price isn't everything when choosing a roofer. We've all heard nightmare stories of roofers who don't show up, or start the job and don't finish it. I compared the details of all 6 contracts, down to what type of material would be used, cost of fascia/plywood replacement, type of underlayment, flashing, etc. I asked Johan A LOT of questions about EVERYTHING, and he patiently answered every question I asked, explaining in detail exactly what he would be doing and the exact materials he would use, down to the Woodzac screws. I ended up writing up an "addendum" to the contract with all of the details we had agreed to verbally, just to be 100% sure (remember, I'd been burned before), and Johan happily agreed to sign--so I knew he wasn't just "selling" me on stuff. Johan provided me with certificates of general liability and workers comp and permits from the city of Stuart prior to beginning work. He applied for the permit as soon as I signed the contracts and began work the day after the permit was received (City of Stuart takes about a week). The roof was completed very quickly (I think it was 3 days!) and was inspected within a week. My property was tidied daily, and left immacuate when the job was done. Johan was professional, helpful, agreeable and patient with this single mom who was quite nervous after having had a bad experience in the past with contractors. He went above and beyond, priming and painting replaced fascia and fixing a rather large hole that had been made by a squirrel in the eaves (so this wasn't part of the roof replacement itself). In fact, one of his workers fixed it, and Johan was dissatisfied with their work, so he REDID the repair himself, and it looks as good as new. Sunnyside Roofing is not a mega-corporation. This is a local small business run by a scrupulously honest man who truly wants you to be happy with the work. Don't bother contacting any other roofer--trust me, I spoke to ALL OF THEM. You absolutely can't go wrong with Johan. Thank you, Johan, for renewing my faith that there are honest, hardworking people out there who do exactly what they promise, and more.

Johan and his crew did an absolutely amazing job replacing our roof. They were very professional, communicated well with us every step of the project, reasonably priced and just top notch workmanship. We were initially told it works take 3-4 days to complete and they performed all work and passed all inspections in 2 days only. I just can't say enough, how pleased we are with the job they did! Everything about our experience with this company has been fantastic, from the estimate to the completed project. Their price was lower than the other 3 companies I got estimates from, and they had the old roof removed and a beautiful new roof installed in 3 days!! Then they came and cleaned up all around the house and walked with me around the house to show me everything they had done. Loved working with them, and the new roof is amazing and worth every penny! If you need your roof repaired or replaced, this is the company you want to do it!

He provided me with a fair quote and helped with all the permitting paperwork. The job was done very fast and the only delay was due to rain.
