True group did the re-roofing of my townhouse community. Multiple units with multiple leaks during and after completion of the install. And here we are still, over a year later still having ongoing issues with leaks on multiple units and an ongoing fight with the company to have them repaired correctly. Pictures below of the quality of the roof which they advised is done properly and a picture of damage that was not there prior to my roof being installed. First repair done after install they fixed inside and out. Exact same leak a little over a year later, first repair to shove black goo under the tile done on the 12th, then it was the soffit and not a roof issue per the company on the 28th, however my roof had no leaks/damage prior to their team stepping on my roof. We currently have 25 units with roofing issues. I just want the company to take responsibility for the ongoing issues and make the proper repairs however trying to get them to do the right thing seems to be an ongoing fight for my community. **Update** True Group has inspected the property and determined the damage causing the leaks is structural (cracked stucco and bent soffit). Even though the damage was done during the roofing project, they have advised it is not their responsibility and must be a building defect. The unfortunate facts are, prior to our new roofs being installed, none of us had these leak issues. We now have 25 units with problems. Something happened during the project to cause all this damage and the manner in which the shingles were dropped on our roofs and the tear off is the likely culprit. While I understand there will be people walking, banging and vibration, the roof likely was not meant to have that much weight dropped with such force which I now understand thanks to the explanation provided by the team today on the weight of the bundles. The building shook and the exhaust fans were knocked loose when they were dropped. So now we are responsible to pay for repairs to both the inside and outside of our homes. **As you can see from the response from the company, my home apparently had no stucco, bent soffit and build defects prior to the install of the new roof yet never leaked in that spot for those 18 years prior?? **Update to say that we have had roofers out and insurance adjusters and for the most part has been deemed poor installation as the cause of all the units with leaks. It also appears these same issues happened at another close by community. In addition the company invalidated our warranty just because a named storm was in the state even though we provided proof from the NWS that there were never hurricane force winds here. Again save yourself the headache and choose a different company.
