Mighty Dog Roofing of Palm Beach went beyond any expectations we had. Austin and Nick were professional, personable, and easy to work with. There quote was reasonable and inclusive of add-ins. Courtyard Condo has 4 areas of flat roofs which they explained different ways to seal them, providing us with explanations and giving us their best recommendation. We took their recommendation and we are completely impressed. We also have large area of shingled roof that they replaced. There clean up was efficient and daily, any problems they came across they fixed, there Workers were pleasant and skilled. Everything was completed in a very timely matter. Mighty Dog abandoned our contract without explanation. In March 2024, after what seemed to be pleasant negotiations, Mighty Dog Roofing of Palm Beach and I entered into a written contract for the re-roofing of my home. I sent the required initial deposit. I was trusting. Shortly thereafter, Mighty Dog went silent. After a call to its answering service went un-returned, I followed up with emails. Initially, I requested a status on proceeding with my job. No response. I asked if its principal, was experiencing some kind of personal or business emergency. No response. I then looked into whether Mighty Dog had initiated the permit process since it was required to apply for permits within 10 days of the contract signing and my initial deposit which had occurred well before. No permit application had been made. I emailed again telling Mighty Dog it was in default under the contract and providing an opportunity to cure the default by applying for the permits. Still no response. I called the Mighty Dog home office twice and explained the problem. On both occasions I was told that someone would be in touch with me. After the first call a salesperson called that was completely unaware that I already had a contract for the work. After the second call to Mighty Dog, no one contacted me despite the promise. So much for the Might Dog brand. I have to start over again on finding a roofer. Our wet season…. and hurricane season… are here. Avoid Mighty Dog. I had to use one star because I can't select 0 or a negative number.
